a roundhouse production
designed as an "interruption" to the British Library's wider exhibition on Black British music, this film is a drop that breaks barriers.
interrupted disrupts the interruptor. it is elation, fury, celebration and drive all at once. it is the hustle of constant renaissance.
in its original exhibited form the film stands between two spaces in the British Library and in the history of Black British music: 'on the record' and 'cyberspace'.
the soundtrack plays through twin bespoke sound systems, designed by Friendly Pressure.
